The middle phrase in this verse tells us that the fullness of joy exists where God is. In his presence, we have this fullness of joy. Our joy won’t be full, complete, or abundant apart from God. Many of us experience God’s joy when we worship or pray. Others experience it when we’re around family or in nature. But if you’re having trouble experiencing God’s joy, you can also find him at work. God is working. So when you work with Him, you will experience His fullness of joy, too.
